Our Product Roadmap
Common Ground is civic utility — like electricity or water. Here's what we're building, and when.
Milestone 1
Website & Look-Up Tool
Launched July 4, 2026
Best-in-class research on what Americans want from their government — browse by policy area, search by topic. Use it to evaluate candidates and to ground conversations with family, friends, and neighbors. Facts at your fingertips.
Milestone 2
The Common Ground Platform
Published August 2026
9 Planks covering federal policies that meet three criteria: supermajority public support, cross-partisan agreement, and respect for individual constitutional rights as protected by the Bill of Rights. The democratic floor — the baseline that a representative democracy should reasonably be expected to reflect.
Milestone 3
The Declaration List
Launching October 2026
A public statement that government should respond to the Will of the People — and a growing, visible count of the citizens who stand behind it. The Declaration connects like-minded citizens across party lines so we can act in concert.
Milestone 4
Congress's Report Card
Coming October 2026
A plain-language grade for how Congress as a whole is progressing on the Common Ground Planks — where it's delivering, and where it isn't. Facts for voters, grounded in shared data rather than partisan talking points.
Milestone 5
The Gap Analysis Report
Coming Year-End 2026
A rigorous, documented accounting of the distance between what Americans want and what Congress has delivered — by issue, by policy area, over time. The record, made visible.
Milestone 6
The Scorecard for Legislators
Coming 2027
Individual grades for each Senator and Representative — how each one's record aligns with the Common Ground Platform, so voters can see exactly where their own representatives stand.
All Common-Ground.US tools are freely available. No cost. No advertising. No party affiliation.
